Anzac Day.

We made some poppies to remember all the people who fought and died in the war. We decorated our school sign with them. Some of our ancestors were in the war. Some of them lived and some of them died, so Anzac Day is special to us! "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them."

  1. I hope you all have a nice day off school, but remember what Anzac Day means. We are lucky to live in a safe country and we don't have to go to war.

    Miss T.

  2. This is a lovely way to remember the sacrifices people made for us. Your poppies are beautiful just like all of you!!

  3. Ben says he likes the sign and he hopes that you had a nice day.

The rest of the class say hello to everyone.
