Baked Potatoes.

Our E-Pals gave us some of their potatoes that they had grown in their vegetable garden. Wasn't that kind of them? Look at us with the potatoes.
We decided to cook them and eat them.

First we had to wash and scrub them.
Hamish was good at getting his potato all clean.

Taylor made a great job of getting her potato clean too.

Anihera was good at getting all the dirt off too!

We got the potatoes all nice and clean.

Then we wrapped the potatoes up in tinfoil.
Briana was very careful.

Jack wrapped his potato up carefully too.

We thought they looked a bit like Easter eggs!

We baked them in the oven. It was so easy to do.

Then we cut them in a cross on top. We squeezed them a bit. They were hot and steaming and then we sprinkled grated cheese on top of them. The cheese melted all over the potatoes.

We couldn't wait to try them.

Watch our movie about our yummy baked potatoes!
